World AIDS Day Observed at Govt. AMT School, Deewan Bagh, Srinagar
World AIDS Day was celebrated on 29th December at Government AMT School, Deewan Bagh, Srinagar, under the able guidance of the Principal, Ms. Shamshada Akhter. The programme was organized to create awareness among students regarding HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and the need for empathy and non-discrimination.
On the occasion, students delivered informative speeches highlighting the causes, prevention, and social impact of HIV/AIDS. Various activities including a poster making competition, drawing competition, and reel making competition were organized, in which students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity on the theme of World AIDS Day.
Teachers and students actively participated in the event, making the programme both educational and engaging. The activities helped reinforce the importance of awareness, prevention, and social responsibility towards people living with HIV/AIDS.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Mr. Ab Gani Dar, who appreciated the efforts of the school administration, staff, and students for the successful conduct of the event.
The programme was organized under the supervision of the school authorities, with Mr. Zahid Zubair serving as the Organizing Secretary.
