Government Medical College Srinagar Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Enthusiasm and Fervor

Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan, Principal/Dean, GMC Srinagar, hoisted the National flag on the occasion, marking the beginning of the celebrations.

The function was attended by a gathering of over 500 people, including Administrator Associated Hospitals, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Heads of Departments, faculty members, officers of Administration, Medical Superintendents, Dy. Medical Superintendents, Resident Medical Officers, Chief Medical Officers, Medical Officers, paramedical staff, ministerial staff, and security staff.

In addition to the main function at GMC Srinagar, separate functions were held in all 9 associated hospitals, where the concerned Medical Superintendents hoisted the National flag. These celebrations reflected the institution's commitment to patriotism and national pride.
