Stroke Awareness Takes Center Stage at GMC Srinagar's 'Run for Stroke' Srinagar

The Department of Neurology at Government Medical College Srinagar organized a "Run for Stroke" event to promote awareness and action against stroke. The event, which started at NISHAT foreshore road and culminated at Hazratbal, saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, highlighting GMC Srinagar's commitment to community health and education. Under Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan's leadership, the college has been actively involved in various initiatives, including ensuring patient care and accessibility at government hospitals.

The event with the aim Raising awareness about stroke, its risk factors, symptoms, prevention, and treatment options ; Encouraging local people to participate in the event and take proactive steps towards stroke prevention and response, and demonstrating GMC Srinagar's commitment to community health and education .
