GMC Srinagar Attends NMC Webinar on Anti-Ragging Sensitization on 29-01-2026

Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar today attended a webinar delivered by Dr. Abhijat Chandrakant Sheth, Chairman of the National Medical Commission (NMC) on “Sensitization on Ragging, Laws/Regulations, and Live Case Studies”, held at the Auditorium Hall, GMC Srinagar.

The programme was attended by the Principal/Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan Shah, along with the Administrator, Associated Hospitals, and all Heads of Department, other senior faculty members, members of Anti-Ragging Committees and Squads, Hostel Committees, and designated Mentors participated in the session.

MBBS students of Batches 2022, 2023, 2024, and the freshers’ batch were also present.

The webinar aimed to enhance awareness about anti-ragging laws and regulations and to reinforce a safe, secure, and student-friendly academic environment across the institution.
