Message by Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh

I consider it an honour to have been posted as Medical Superintendent, SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, one of the Associated Hospitals  of Government Medical College, Srinagar and one of the largest Tertiary Care Hospital in the valley.

            It is my Privilege and pleasure to be the Medical superintendent of this prestigious Hospital. I understand that this Hospital is a great step forward in bringing quality health services to the community. Over the years, the hospital has grown by leaps and bounds. This is a state of art multispecialty hospital with many advanced Health Care facilities available.

            The facilities available at SMHS Hospital provides high quotient QUALITY health care and commitment and the same are backed by well trained & dedicated hospital staff. We do our best to give medical, surgical and nursing care & advice to each of our patients in an ethical atmosphere of compassion.  We also offer highly supported services ranging from basic life support to optimum health care facilities to all sections of the society of not only Kashmir valley but also some pockets of Jammu region.

            The services provided by the faculty and the staff to the hospital towards the sick and the needy are highly commendable. Keeping pace with current trends in healthcare industry, we attempt to provide quality medical care.

            It's a challenge to keep pace with the fast growing technology and rapid advancement in Health Care.
