Training
programs with regard to Prevention of Drug abuse by means of webinars through online platforms were conducted to ensure that people associated with NGOS and other stake holders were sensitized and trained in this context to affect this change.
Drug
Menace awareness and training programs for various Govt. Degree Colleges viz, Govt. Degree College, Shopian, Govt. Degree College, Ganderbal, Govt. Degree College, Pulwama & Govt. Degree College, Kulgam were conducted to ensure they are taught and made aware of the different shades of drug abuse.
School
based drug abuse prevention programmes in Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Ganderbal, and Kulgam were conducted to reduce the prevalence of substance use disorders and create awareness among students about evil effects of drug abuse.
Drug
abuse prevention and public education programs were delivered on Radio, TV and social medical in order to o increase the knowledge base of the community about the potential risk factors and consequences of substance use and the means that can be adopted in order to avoid those factors.
Training
programme of 15 days for 40 Medical Officers from Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir regarding drug de-addiction and mental health in group of 10 was conducted.
