HPLC Research Lab
Analytical High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC 1260 Infinity Model) of Agilent Technologies is used routinely for qualitative & quantitative analysis of serum levels of various drugs mostly Antiepileptic Drugs (AEDs). Therapeutic drug monitoring is routinely done as a part of patient care services using HPLC Technology. Currently our research lab is performing Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) for phenytoin and carbamazepine at a minimal charge of 250 Rs/sample. Optimization for other AEDs and drugs where TDM is must is under process.
We are routinely carrying qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical formulations also, mostly antibiotics (Ceftriaxone, Piperacillin and Tazobactum).
PG Lab: Different equipments related to experimental pharmacology are available in PG Lab, which are used for various research purposes and screening of various pharmaceutical ingredients.
UG Lab:
(i) Pharmacodynamics Lab: One dozen of computers have been equipped with various simulators for UG practical purposes. Wherein different experiments are being shown to the students during their practical sessions.
(ii) Pharmacy Lab: Various chemicals and reagents are used for preparation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms for demonstration purposes as a part of UG teaching curriculum.
