Patients after registration for Surgical OPD are directed to either Male/Female OPD chambers as per the Gender and are seen by Senior Resident/ 3 Year Post Graduates. (Room no. 43 / 45). The patients who merit further evaluation and expertise are then referred to the Consultant’s Chambers as per the expertise. Patients for routine follow up are directly seen by the Consultants based on their expertise. Each room is guarded by an orderly to allow smooth passage and regulated inflow of patients. The Surgical OPD complex has suitable sitting arrangements in the waiting halls. All patients dated for elective surgeries are admitted in OPD after thorough assessment and OPD Pre-anesthesia check-up. A diary is maintained for giving dates for Surgeries as per the merit of the case and is maintained by the Senior resident of the respective units.
